dashboard this morning............jumbo pics, and NO SCROLL!! anyone know I miss the scroll how am I going to read posts beyond the bottom??? can do google reader but I like dashboard!!!.......................................
nope that didn't work for me.
I'm not one to like a lot of changes, too old to handle them. I really wish I had an answer. I need to be able to scroll down. I read loads of blogs all day and like you I'm not much for the reader option. Hope there are some answers somewhere out there.
ReplyDeleteUse the space bar. It will scroll you down about one page at a time.
ReplyDeleteI am sooooo glad you posted this! I thought I did something somehow and could not figure out how to get back to "normal"! LOL. I hate computers....and change.....I just want to read my blog list, like I usually do! :) sandy
ReplyDeleteSilly me, I didn't realize all the latest blogs messages are listed at the bottom of the dashboard! I usually just check the list on my blog (have them sorted by latest update) and then go to each updated blog.
ReplyDeleteThe scroll bar was working for me, but that may be beginners luck ?!?
I don't like it either!! I posted a complaint comment with blogger along with some other peoples comments. Now I don't know where I left off because I was a day behind on all of those I read. It will only bring up about 10 blogs of the many I read unless I click on each blog seperately. I sure hope they go back to the way it was!
ReplyDeleteI just discovered that down at the bottom of the page is a button that says 'view in google reader'. Clicked on that and it brought all of the blogs I follow similar to how blogger used to do it. It took awhile for me to find where I left off yesterday but at least it's all there. Give it a try - it might work for you.
ReplyDeleteYikes! Don't like this! Won't admit to how long I sat and hit 'Refresh' before I went to the bottom of my screen.
ReplyDeleteI agree with all of you...don't like this! It actually started doing this last night...was trying to read my blog list and could only get to the end of the screen - couldn't scroll any further! Why do they keep doing this type of stuff? HATE it!
ReplyDeleteXOXO,
Cyndi
My dashboard doesn't even work. Maybe they are working on it. I hate how they download photos now.
ReplyDeleteMine is doing the same thing....
ReplyDeleteHere is something from the support forum that may answer your question.

I had the same problem last night and spent hours trying to work it out-and never did!!! Turned the computer on this morning and back to normal-thank goodness.
ReplyDeleteHope yours is the same.
I don't know about the posting issue and I am no expert but I have found that using "Next: button in google reader a great help - in a quickness the blog moves to the next latest post - although you don't scroll through the whole blog it helps for keeping up with blogs..... I found it via a friend, via another friend.... etc
ReplyDeleteI wonder if this will help your reading of posts....

- I forgot to add that this way also makes it easy if you want to add a comment as you don't need to open another window.... and if you don't want to read past the first couple of lines - just press next.....

I had the same problem last night Cyndi, but now I seem to be on track again! Hope you are too?
ReplyDeleteHugs!!!!!!! Vikki x
ps. Love the new banner!!! :-)
I was disappointed when I saw that change too! Now seems back to normal. Blogger always seems to be making changes!! I am glad to seem that the "post a comment" pop-up isn't a full page anymore!
ReplyDeleteHi Cyndi, that is what mine looked like this morning too! But I didn't have any time to fuss with it so I shut off the computer and when I came back tonight...it is back to normal! Thank Goodness because I suck at computers on a good day!!
